Lori is our Office Manager and Lead Optician. She has over 20 years of experience in the optometry field and takes great pride in providing excellent customer service to our patients. On top of leading the day-to-day office operations, Lori specializes in assisting patients with frame selection, lens options, adjustments and more. Her extensive background in the field has equipped her to answer any questions you may have about your visit. In her personal time, Lori likes to ride motorcycles and spend time with her grandson.
Christy M. | Vision Care Director
Christy joined our team in 2018. She has an extensive background in business management and employee training/education. Christy helps to coordinate and manage employees between both offices. She is highly involved in the marketing team and works to organize community outreach events. She also helps to implement various projects and ideas to keep the office on the cutting edge and running smoothly. In addition, you will often find her immersed in all facets of the practice, from optical to teching to billing. She prides herself on ensuring that our patients have the best experience possible while they are in our care. In her spare time, Christy enjoys traveling, interior design, reading, hiking & spending time with her husband Alex, and dog, Kieva.
Michelle grew up in and around the Black Hills. She and her spouse Chris enjoy spending time with their five beautiful children: Spencer, Dawson, Austin, Preston & Bella. She also enjoys spending time outdoors in the sunshine, whether it be relaxing on the porch with a good book or tending to her flowers and bird watching. She also enjoys tooling around the golf course with her spouse and cooking/trying new recipes. Michelle takes fantastic care of our patients. She loves working with the patients, listening to their needs/wants and helping them attain those goals. Nothing makes her happier than making a person truly look and feel their best. Michelle prides herself on being friendly and professional, and seeing patients smile truly makes her heart smile. She is always staying well-versed in her continued education and fashion trends to ensure she is offering our patients the latest technology & merchandise that best suits their vision needs.
Kate | Office Manager (Deadwood) & Bookkeeper
Kate and her husband Ryan have three children, Jay, Paige, and Mya. Kate graduated from University of WI-River Falls in 2007, and continued her education to later get certified as an Ophthalmic Technician. After spending several years working for an ophthalmology practice in Seattle, she and her family moved to Spearfish. Kate has enjoyed spending the last four years exploring the Black Hills of SD.
